Bouncing for Breast Cancer is 100% supported by private individuals, who care about single mums with under age kids and their needs. We don't have corporate sponsors or any other forms of income and rely on the generosity and gratuity of people like you.

Our Mission

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for single mums with breast cancer by supporting their basic needs of life during treatment and recovery so they can focus their energies on healing and being what mums really want to be: their nurturing and loving selves for their kids.

Our vision grows out of a genuine love and caring for single mums with breast cancer who feel they are on the edge. We are called to meet them at that edge and gently escort them back to life and their future. Every mother’s primary need and focus is to care for and protect her children. At a time when their own life and health is uncertain, we want them to be able to direct all their energy on their personal recovery, knowing that they and their children are cared for.

My Story...

It was in 7th grade when I found out that my mom had breast cancer. I can remember that night like it was yesterday. I remember my mom pulling me aside as I was racing around trying to get everything I needed to get done for school the next day. I knew this wasn’t going to be good by the tone in her voice, and how serious she was. When those words ‘I have breast cancer’ came out of her mouth, I felt as if the wind had been knocked out of me. I was speechless and didn’t know what to say to her. A… Continue

PET CT SCAN RESULTS

Hi everyone! The past couple of days I have been sitting on pins and needles waiting for some very important test results. I had my quarterly PET CT scan done.
For those of you not familiar with that, it's a test using a radiactive isotope that reacts with the glucose in tumors. It's extremely effective and it is a great tool used for more advanced cancers like mine.
Well, the drumroll of the day is.....NO NEW TUMORS!!!!!!!!! For the first time in two years there are no new tumors sites anywhere… Continue

A Must Watch Video

Go to www.foodmatters.tv and prepare to be educated. This online video is of the caliber of "The Secret" which began in a similar way.

Watch with caution as belief systems will change with each interview. Enjoy.

A Question For The Mom's

Howdy Ho everyone!!!!!!! I'm recovering from another treatment and feeling overall horrible about it. I have just been so tired lately I feel as if I do not know which way is up. I am doing Taxol chemotherapy, but I am also on a new drug called Avastin. It inhibits blood vessel growth so new cancer cells can not develop a way to feed and therefore can not grow into tumors. It also helps with current tumors by slowly killing off their blood supply of food.
My question...are any of the other mom's… Continue

Early detection of breast cancer means a patient has more treatment choices and a much better chance of recovery!
