Bouncing For Breast Cancer

…Life is Worth Bouncing For

Hi everyone! The past couple of days I have been sitting on pins and needles waiting for some very important test results. I had my quarterly PET CT scan done.
For those of you not familiar with that, it's a test using a radiactive isotope that reacts with the glucose in tumors. It's extremely effective and it is a great tool used for more advanced cancers like mine.
Well, the drumroll of the day is.....NO NEW TUMORS!!!!!!!!! For the first time in two years there are no new tumors sites anywhere, not even my skeleton. The older tumors that are still there have shown signs of shrinkage and there is lots of healing tissue throughout my skeleton.
I will still have to do probably between 4 - 6 more courses of chemo in the hopes of clearing up the one's left. But overall my doctor was extremely happy.
Hell, I'm extremely happy.
I just wanted to update all of you here and share my joy with you all.

Big hugs--

Justy

Justy, this is truly awesome. You are truly an extraordinary woman. I am so thrilled for you and your family.

i was in a fitness boot camp when you uploaded this. Actually, the weekend was called the XTREME TEAM CHALLENGE - 24 hrs of intense training (mostly outdoors) in the most adverse whether conditions (worst winter in years - wind, hail, pounding rain) and rationed to a diet of 1000 caleries and 2 litres of water. i offered myself into this challenge because it is through adversity, we grow. i became very clear on what my ultimate outcome was, my purpose for taking part and the woman i would become as a result.

the only difference between success and failure is our mindset - better yet our HEARTSET.

what i realised is that by being present and accepting all that is around me, there was no resistance and I could relax. The result was amazing. I had the most amazing power and i seemed to energetically sail through the moment, one step at a time. There was no past, no future, there was just the powerful present.

enjoy your powerful present (you are to the world). we do!
